here're five sets of fabrics from the "lotus" collection by amy butler. it's RM188 per set, poslaju shipping charge inclusive
even though amy butler has come out with other collections, this one still receives so much attention and an unceasing demand from cotton lovers. it has been reprinted (and reprinted...), and looks like it's not going to be out of print after all...

salam. may i know what's the different between light-weight cotton & quilting weight cotton? n for the quilting weight cotton, is it suitable for making baju kurung? i'm still new in fabric designer. thanks in advanced :)
ReplyDeletew'salam. i'm no expert in this area myself. to me, light-weight cotton is light and soft, like most japanese cotton. quilting-weight fabric slight heavy, some refer as medium-weight, but i use it to make baju kurung nonetheless. but some i label as light quilting-weight, this one feels like other designer cotton, but lighter, but not as light as light-weight cotton though. hope this helps;)
ReplyDeleteHello there, just wondering if the green paisley set still availbale? and how is yard translating to meter?i am not really familiar with yard unit..thanks a lot dear
ReplyDeleteit's still available.
ReplyDelete1 yard = 36 inches, whereas 1 meter = 39 inches. Since we normally need 4 meters to make baju kurung, 4.5 yards = 4.15 meters, basically you have a bit more than 4 meters, roughly 6 inches extra if you buy 4.5 yards.
