another giveaway, 'aidil adha giveaway'...

it should have been organized earlier, in time for the winners to receive their gifts prior to hari raya aidil adha 1432. still, we hope that everyone would be interested to join in again this time! this giveaway starts today, november 3 until november 18, 2011

like our previous giveaways, this is only open to our followers, friends and fans. follow us, become our friends and like us to partcipate :)

we have three (3) of this panel (24" x 44") from ro gregg's sweet cakes collection, northcott fabrics for three (3) lucky winners

in celebrating hari raya, it would be best if we could do so, sharing the joy and laughter, while realizing the significance of the celebration, with families, relatives, neighbors and friends, in an 'ideal location', somewhere you really feel at home, perfectly comfortable!
for you, where would that place (in malaysia) be? be as specific as you can as to the name of the city, town, village, street, etc? in one or two sentences, tell us why?

all the best!

  1. We don't really celebrate, and for specific reason, we prefer to be just with our own family (my hubs and 5 kids), and no matter where the place is, as long as we are together, everywhere are as comfortable as at home but...since you said it must be specific place/town, for us the most comfortable place, and feel at home are here, Changlun. We have a small 'kebun' here, tho nothing much to see and do...but the feeling can't be describe in words...we feel peaceful, calm and...it just feel 'at home' :)

P/S: Thanks you for organizing such interesting agive away and cute pressie too, I always wanted to have my own apron :) Wish me luck!!

  3. The best place to celebrate Hari Raya is definitely Sg Petani, Kedah coz my parents' house which happens to be in Sg Petani is just a stone's throw away.... hehehe... & Raya's celebration is much merrier & more meaningful with all my family members especially my Cik Abg, my kids, my parents, my siblings, my nieces & nephews, my relatives, my neighbours & my friends. Being with loved ones is so precious.. Having a big family is such a blessing. I thank Allah for everything.

  4. For me, there is no better place other than my own home in Tawau, Sabah. Aidiladha normally will be celebrated in a simple way.. this is because my family is small .... we are only three (husband, me and the little one..)!!! But it was bustling with 'acara tukar-menukar juadah' with neighbors in the morning raya. Since my siblings away in Sandakan ... and leave is not enough .. so it's worth celebrating aidiladha with my small family .....

  6. Joined..

For me the best place to celerate is at my "kampung", Telok Ramunia, Pengerang. In the morning we started with the prayers at the mosque, while my mum and also my "makcik-makcik" served for the food (rendang, ketupat, lodeh..etc). Every year, I look forward to this! The smell of the food cooking the night itself before Hari Raya, hypes me up for Hari Raya even more!♥♥♥

    The End...:)

  7. Slm Aidil Adha....

i've missed my grandparents home in Pasir Mas...especially during Raya Haji
I used to see cows slaughtered next to my grandparents home ( atas padang ) and it was indeed a remarkable 'thing' to see.. All those gotong royong and fresh 'daging goreng'...sedapnya!
Now wat's left was memories and only memories!
    Thnx for the GA!

  8. Hai, sudah tentu kampung adalah tempat yg paling best menyambut hari raya bersama keluarga tercinta...tapi bagi saya pengalaman pada ta hun 2000, berhari raya bersama kawan2 ketika belajar di UUM Sintok Kedah dulu akan saya ingat sampai bila2...w/pun menu pagi raya tu hanyalah nasi bungkus, tp suasana dikelilingi pokok kelapa dan masing2 berbaju raya, kami dapat merasai nikmatnya berhari raya walaupun berjauhan dengan keluarga....
    Salam Aidiladha ....

  10. Tempat yg paling best sambut hari raya sudah pasti kampung halaman tercinta di rumah nenek ( Jitra, Kedah ).. Sejak dulu mmg menjadi tradisi berkumpul di rumah nenek dgn kaum keluarga serta sepupu yg ramai.. Malam raya diterangi dgn lampu pelita keliling kampung dan pagi raya dimandikan dgn air telaga bercampur akar sintok oleh arwah datuk.. Sesudah sembahyang raya 'tawaf' satu kampung ke rumah sanak saudara..

Namun, sejak mendirikan rumahtangga 9 thn yg lalu kemeriahan semakin bertambah..

  11. Raya Korban, for me tidak la semeriah raya haji.

    sekian.

  12. The only perfect place for me to celebrate Raya would be HOME, with families, relatives and all the familiar faces. That would be at Kampung Tanjung Aru, Labuan. But this year, we had a small kenduri at home so it was different from the past years. The crowd is merrier and the food is even merrier :)

  13. Kampung Parit Sulong, Batu Pahat, Johor

Pelita sepanjang parit, lawan meriam dengan kampung sebelah, ayam kampung masak kicap, sayur campur which they call 'sambal sayur' eventho tak pedas and of course ada tempeh, kopi panas for adult, kordial Jalen for kids, tandas luar rumah, tidur ramai-ramai on floor, pelukan erat dari nenek which makes everyone tersedar the last time balik kampung jumpa nenek masa hari raya puasa, tengok tv kecil takde astro ramai2, takde sape on laptop buat kerja or facebook sebab takde wifi, 3 org berhimpit naik motor kapcai budak kampung nak beli topup sebab x bole topup online, pokok sawit everywhere, kanak2 yang nakal kena tungau :B

Semua ni tak dapat rasa kat KL, hanya di kampung tempat asal kita :)
